If you read through the Bible, a clear theme is represented: God wants a family to dote on! From Genesis through the maps, you'll find God creating, recreating, redeeming, restoring and revealing his great love for all mankind.

And that's what Grace is all about: aligning with God's plan for us!

We're not meant to be alone. We instinctively know that we're not supposed to do life alone. The Bible says that we are made in the image of God - that means were are designed by God for interaction with others. Primarily with Him, but also with each other. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic taught us the value of interconnection. Loneliness is not simply being alone; it is the absence of healthy and meaningful giving and receiving relationships.

Membership is about learning to love. At Grace, we prioritize the Biblical purpose of Fellowship - the meaningful, authentic, sharing of our lives as a family. We believe that God wants to spend eternity with a Forever Family. Oh, we know that's not easy! Culturally, we're used to an a la carte menu of what we want. But that's not how God planned it and it never works. At Grace, Membership is a commitment to each other that we'll trust the Holy Spirit's training to help us love each other. We're not perfect people loving perfectly - far from it! We're imperfect people being perfected by love! "Love cannot be learned in isolation," wrote Rick Warren. "You have to be around people - irritating, imperfect, frustrating people." You see, we believe that God has called us to be more than just believers - he's created us to become "belongers".

Joining Grace.

Grace might not be for you, but the best way to find out is to attend our Class 101: Discovering Membership event. Offered four times a year, we tell you about our unique vision, explain our values and strategy and fully explain why life together, living for a purpose greater than our own, is always better. You can come just to learn. There is no pressure to join.

If you have questions about Grace or membership, please contact our Connection Pastor, Sean Lee, at 575.623.5438 or slee@roswellgrace.com
