REACH

The Church did not make up the Mission of the Church. It is a standing order given by our Lord - one that we are accountable for and one where there must be no confusion about its intentional priority.

At Grace, we believe that once we understand that God formed us for a family, created us to become more like Christ, and shaped us to serve him in ministry, we are ready to grow in the MISSION that God has for us.

No matter what stage of life you are in, you will be challenged to join God in transforming our world. You will find opportunities to serve your community and impact eternity.

The Lord Jesus simply said:

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age."

Matthew 28:18-20

The Church has always called this "The Great Commission."  Not one of many of them, but THE commission that we are commanded to keep as preeminent above all our efforts. In fact, it sets the parameters of our service to Him. If you are a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Great Commission is YOUR commission.  "To fulfill your mission," wrote Rick Warren, "will require that you abandon your agenda and accept God's Agenda for your life."

It's a call for every member of God's family. And it is GREAT.  Think about it: disciples are a part of the greatest, largest, most diverse, and most significant cause in human history: The Kingdom of God!  We will have other life tasks, but our primary work is to fulfill the Great Commission in our home, in our community…and beyond!

At Grace, our primary mission focus is on partnership with New Vision Latin America Missions led by our Mission Pastor Jerry Acosta who has been a tireless evangelist and developer of pastors and ministry leaders all over Central America, particularly in helping churches develop their discipleship potency through Purpose Driven Principles. Keila, his wife and ministry partner, has developed particularly strong skills in children and teen ministry development. New Vision Latin America Ministry supports missionaries in Venezuela, Panama, Brazil, and Spain. Grace holds a one-time offering each year to fully fund this ministry.

At Grace, we have been entrusted to share the good news of Christ! This is a privilege each of us shares, as well as a responsibility we must take personally.

We desire to enable people to impact others through missions. ​

• Also, in Class 401, we will teach you how to share your life message and find opportunities to share that message where you live.
