CelebrateRecovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program offering a safe place to find freedom from life's hurts, hang-ups, and habits. CR is hosted at Grace Community Church on Friday nights in the Children's Building.
Participants are encouraged to invite their families and friends to the pre-meeting dinner at 5 PM if they so choose; the dinner is hosted in the Children's Building and is designed for a time of great fellowship and great food at affordable prices with other Celebrate Recovery participants.
The large group meeting is designed for the participant to set aside the busyness and stress of the outside world by entering into a time of prayer, praise and worship, and teaching as a way of getting in touch with the one and only Higher Power, Jesus Christ. The service takes place in the large meeting room of the Children's Building, across the lobby from the nursery wing offering free childcare.
The open share small group meets immediately after the large group meeting in various breakout rooms and provides a place for the participant to connect with other Celebrate Recovery attendees. This is a safe place where participants can be in gender-specific groups and issue-specific groups.
After you’ve attended Celebrate Recovery for a while, you will want to join a step study. The step study small group is for those who are ready to delve deeper into their past and the choices they have made. This is where participants will see real, lasting changes start to happen. Step studies take place another night of the week.
Celebrate Recovery also offers programs for children and teens. Celebration Place is the uplifting, hope-filled, children's companion to Celebrate Recovery. The Landing is Celebrate Recovery written for teens that help them deal with their hurts, hang-ups and habits.

WHAT IS DIVORCECARE?
DivorceCare is a safe place where caring people come alongside you as you find healing from the pain of separation or divorce. At this 13-week, video-based support group program, you’ll find helpful counsel to manage the emotional turmoil and practical tools for decision-making.
WHAT YOU’LL FIND AT A DIVORCECARE GROUP
Understanding & Acceptance
People at DivorceCare understand how you’re feeling and what you’re struggling with—because they’re facing similar challenges. Everyone’s story is different, and you’ll be accepted right where you are, in a safe place.
"I could be me and no one would judge me." -Lesia
Encouragement & Hope
It’s so comforting to know you’re not alone and that you’re going to be okay. Through the videos and small-group discussion time, you’ll hear from people who have felt there’s nothing left to look forward to—and now they’re starting to smile again. They’ll help you do the same.
"Going to DivorceCare, I was getting solid again. I was starting to heal. I had hope." - Mica
Good Advice
Each week, you’ll watch a 30-minute video filled with practical suggestions from counselors and other experts on divorce recovery. Plus you’ll hear from people who’ve experienced a marriage breakup and who share what’s helped them. Their insights will help you make wise decisions as you move forward.
"For the first time I had people that had answers." -Jonathan
A Structured Approach
When everything feels chaotic, DivorceCare’s structured approach provides stability. It helps you organize your thinking and manage your emotions. Each group is built around three main parts that work together to provide the most effective healing experience: video, group discussion, and a participant book for practical application.
"The process and information were amazing! The curriculum brought comfort and peace." -Sonia
Healing from loss is a journey
Everyone experiences grief differently
Feeling angry or full of regret? Are you depressed and wondering how to heal? Do you walk around in a mental fog? All this is normal. And while your grief journey is unique, you’ll find many grieving people are facing the same struggles. And others who’ve gone before you can help.
Grief cannot be rushed
You may wish you could bypass the difficult emotions or push down the pain. Or maybe others are pressuring you to “get up and move on.” But healing from grief and loss requires you to go through your grief. We have resources that can help you find relief and stability.
Finding support is crucial
Grief is a journey that shouldn’t be traveled alone. You may feel like no one understands and be tempted to isolate, but as counselor David Bueno Martin says, “Healing happens in the context of finding others who can help you.” A GriefShare group is a safe place to find support.
The Hope Circle
Hope is often hard to define or pin down; it can seem mysterious and illusive. When individuals living with mental illness repeatedly have the painful experience of dashed expectations for wellness, recovery, and emotional stability or continue to be plagued with suicidal thoughts, hope can disappear. A positive, optimistic outlook for the future can be replaced with a flood of negative thoughts, cognitive misperceptions, and even dangerous self-loathing. And yet we cannot live without hope! The Hope for Mental Health Community is founded on five simple spiritual truths that speak to the deepest longings of the human soul: to be loved, to believe you have a
purpose, to belong, to have autonomy, and to know you have a contribution to make. These five truths also combat the damaging messages that can keep people from moving toward hope.
These truths form The Hope Circle:
• You are loved
• You have a purpose
• You belong
• You have a choice
• You are needed
